Loved the style, especially the fact that the hero was just a bit of a dumbass. Although I think you made him a little too showy in his way of fighting: he looked like a martial artist posing for a film. If he's just a kitchen hand, the way you portrayed him, you'd expect his combat to be messier, rougher and less precise.
Also, why the hell would a girl keep a revolver in her nightstand? that was bizarre.
Other than a few minor style/plot snags, that was really friggin good.

I loved all the Kill Bill references! although i thought Gogo Yubari was a much more badass villain than the giant bunny. This is hilarious, clever and brutally awesome all at the same time.

Ok the theme + style of the story was hands down awesome. Some of the humour was awesome: real survivors DRINK PEPSIII!... funny. Also some excellent art, Drew the main character loos perfect. Tannis' evil demon look was hilarious.
But here's where you fucked up:
- Drew's voice doesnt fit his looks - he speaks too fast, too tense - he's such a laconic sorta dude. "Whatever Hell has to throw at us" for example was way too vehement.
-Some of the voice acting was laboriously overdone (tannis's intro 'hey drew wait up') - it made me want to punch him in the head.
- Some of the humour was painful.
- Kevin reminds me of Shinji out of NGE. FUCKING NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
flawed but good. looking forwardto the next one.

A little bit disjointed, maybe... but I love the sense of humour!

Look... I find the controls aggravating. The jump is useless unless you bother to charge it up (which requires considerable forsight) and ditto with running, your avatar simply isnt maneouvrable enough. Similarly, the attacks: what the hell is the point of having 3 modes of attack when the sword is by far the most effective??
BUT
This is by far compensated by the game's storyline, beatiful characters and, fuck yeah, its mythology. I'm willing to play with dodgy controls just to find out how it ends, its that cool.
Oh, and those fucking instakill spikes are a joke. Im one of the most powerful beings in the world, why the hell are spikes my mortal enemy??
Apart from that, brilliant.

This is what flash games can be - quirky, unique and non-linear. Nice work man.

"Great storyline, concept... didnt work out, though"
Ok first off, the AI shouldnt have that apparently random element. When I tell everyone 'attack the enemy base' I want them to gather up into a cohesive mass with short range troops at the front, long range at the back, and then for them to march off together. Instead, they sort of wandered back and forth, individually deciding on a whim to attack where they were slaughtered by my opponent.
Not remotely enough control over troops.
I love the storyline and the anime-style art, though. I can see how much effort went into it, and it gave the game a strong degree of style. For that, I'll give you a seven.

Once you hit your boom youre unstoppable. As long as you buy out the govt constantly, get the human burners up after oil gets depleted and keep an eye on what youre doing, theres not a great deal they can do to unseat you. In the end I let the government fuck me over because I was bored (around 2200, I think).
Points for improvement:
-Secret Assignments: invent more after you've used up all the old ones, beyond just sending more and more troops into Iraq. I got the irony, but, once youve got all human burners, soldiers become redundant.
-Flexible Legislation: I noticed that once the pro-environmental stuff was implemented, it wasnt appealed even when I bought the government over to my side again.
-More action post-2200. I mean, apparently WW3 is right around the corner, but it gets old way before then dude!
Otherwise, excellent game with challenging early-stage gameplay, well-written and deliciously ironic dialogue (Oil Friendly Act. LOL.) and an unsettling ability to win the player over to the side of the oil barons. I was creeped out by the fact that I was gleefully watching as troops slaughtered some troublesome protestors.
Solid effort.

I finished the game (after some extreme repetition). You really made me work for my answers.
It made me think, although it didn't offer any alternatives to the Red Freak training (that the game itself incorporates). The granting of the gun ( no gore, they just disappear, like you're a god - very nice touch) drives this home.
A great sense of mystery. You totally broke the cliches, man. I had no idea what to expect, or when the game had ended.
And the narrative boxes, man. Cynical, funny, fatalistic, infuriating by turns.
Now i dont know what to think.
